Project overview

For a demanding banking project in the area of Investments & Pensions, we are looking for an experienced Avaloq Developer and DevOps Engineer. You will be involved in connecting a new Order Management System and further developing securities processing. The goal is to increase the STP rate, reduce risks, and improve the quality of banking processes.

Your tasks include the parametrization and further development of portfolio management functions, the development of event streaming interfaces to other systems, and the support and further development of Java-based software components. You will support ongoing operations, analyze and resolve disruptions, and contribute to quality improvements. Collaboration takes place in an agile DevOps team according to SAFe and SCRUM.

We expect at least 10 years of experience in Avaloq parametrization and knowledge of customer-specific Avaloq implementation. Experience with agile development methods (SAFe, SCRUM), Java development, and event streaming interfaces is required. You should be willing to take on operational tasks in the DevOps context and have an interest in the Investments & Pensions sector. Analytical and structured working methods, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills, are essential.

Knowledge of Kafka, interface integration, and Avaloq Portfolio Management and master data is desirable. German (C2) and English (C1) are required.

The position is designed for 50% utilization in a hybrid model and runs for 12 months in the Zurich region.
