Key Outcomes & Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design & Operations:

Architect and manage cloud environments (AWS or equivalent) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of platforms.

• Infrastructure as Code: Expertise in Terraform or equivalent and automated provisioning.
• Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with AWS services or equivalent and governance.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.
• CI/CD Expertise: Advanced knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Security Practices: Deep understanding of secure DevOps principles and cloud security.
• Problem-Solving & Reliability Engineering: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and design resilient systems.
• Significant experience in DevOps roles with proven delivery of cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on leadership in designing and operating secure, scalable platforms.
• Track record of mentoring and coaching engineers.
• Experience in hybrid UK-based delivery environments.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Networking & Performance Tuning: Knowledge of cloud networking and optimization.
• Agile Delivery: Experience in agile, product-led environments.
• Observability Tools: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
