Azure Cloud Architect

Project overview

For a client in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect. You will design and advise on Microsoft Azure solution architectures within the capital group. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with functional domain managers, analysts, and architects. The project largely concerns Data & AI solutions on the Azure platform.

Responsibilities

• designing architectures for solutions based on Microsoft Azure, including Data & AI and Generative AI solutions,
• architectural consulting for business domains and analytical and technical teams,
• developing concepts, opinions, and architectural recommendations, and project documentation,
• creating architectural models and analyses, including business architecture,
• mapping and modeling business processes (BPMN, UML),
• designing integrations of cloud and AI solutions with corporate systems, databases, and REST API interfaces,
• designing solutions based on RAG, semantic search, and language models (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI),
• technological feasibility analyses, identifying architectural risks, and recommending actions to mitigate them,
• ensuring the security, scalability, performance, availability, and costs of designed solutions,
• supporting the preparation of prototypes, pilots, and MVPs and their transition to production,
• participating in the preparation of terms of reference,
• conducting workshops, consultations, and knowledge transfer regarding Azure and Data & AI architecture.

Requirements

We offer:

• min. 5 years of experience as an IT solution architect,
• min. 3 years of commercial experience in designing solutions in the Azure cloud in medium and large projects,
• participation in at least 2 IT, consulting, or implementation projects,
• experience in designing and implementing complex IT systems, including integration,
• experience in creating architectural models and analyses, and business architecture,
• knowledge of process modeling notations (BPMN, BPML, UML),
• Microsoft AZ-305 certification or equivalent,
• practical knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and other AI services in Azure,
• independence, good work organization, high communication and analytical skills.
