Requirements

Operation and monitoring of the Azure and Databricks platform

Analysis and resolution of incidents as well as sustainable root cause analysis of operational disruptions

Setup and further development of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions

Execution of deployments, releases, and changes in production environments

Automation of recurring operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD

Support with security, network, and authorization concepts

Performance and cost optimization of the cloud platform (FinOps)

Creation and maintenance of operational documentation, runbooks, and emergency processes

Support with knowledge transfer and the further development of operational standards

Several years of experience in operating Microsoft Azure platforms

Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana)

Experience in incident, problem, and change management

Very good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

Good knowledge in the area of cloud security, IAM, and network concepts

Experience in operating production platforms and critical applications

Very good German and good English skills

Nice to have

Experience with Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, or comparable analysis environments

Experience with Miro, Jira, Confluence, or comparable collaboration tools

Initial experience in an agile working environment, for example with Scrum or Kanban
