Azure Junior Cloud Infra Engineer (detach.)

Project overview

As a junior Azure Cloud Infra Engineer, you will work within the Cloud Competence Center on the further development of networking and security settings within Azure.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Co-designing and developing a solution architecture for cloud network services
• Supporting the setup of cloud services within Azure, such as APIM, Application Gateways, and logging infrastructure
• Supporting necessary management and patch management tasks
• Assisting with implementations for data science, such as Kubernetes and Databricks
• Performing cloud engineering tasks such as resource deployment and setting up network infrastructure, including firewalling
• Further developing Azure pipelines (IaC) in Terraform and ARM/Bicep
• HBO work and thinking level
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in cloud services
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in cloud infrastructure and infra engineering within Azure, including knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, best practices, industry standards, and Azure network security
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with network security and concepts such as Zero Trust
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with 'Everything as Code' and CI/CD delivery in an Agile environment, for example with YAML/JSON templates and Terraform
• Knowledge of and experience with various Azure components, including Azure Firewall and Azure Services
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrable experience with YAML and JSON
