Project overview
We are looking for an experienced Azure Technical Architect with strong AKS and Kubernetes expertise to join a technical team supporting a large enterprise environment.
Contract: 6 months
Location - London (SW1)
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Clearance: Active SC Clearance
Pay - attractive daily rate (inside IR35)
The Role
You will take the technical lead in supporting the deployment of an externally developed application into dedicated single-tenant Kubernetes clusters, using established deployment tools, standards and methodologies.
A key part of the role will be assessing application and infrastructure requirements, identifying potential technical risks, and confidently challenging requirements where they do not align with existing architecture or engineering standards.
You will work within a complex enterprise environment, collaborating with technical teams and contributing to technical governance and dependency management.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Azure/Kubernetes Architect to take technical ownership of a key deployment within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes
- Experience working with large-scale Kubernetes deployments
- Good knowledge of standard DevOps tooling, particularly Terraform
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments
- Ability to assess technical requirements and challenge proposed solutions where appropriate
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes networking
- Experience working with enterprise networking teams
- Previous experience within the public sector
