Through tailor-made solutions, we create real added value for our framework contract partners in public administration. We are currently looking for a Backend Developer (m/f/d) for one of our clients.

YOUR MISSION

At our client's site, in addition to central data storage and a data analysis platform using current software tools for analysis, a simulation-based forecasting capability for future-oriented usage control is being developed.

• Project location: Bonn
• Period: November 16, 2026 to December 31, 2026
• Work mix: 30 days remote/ 4 days on-site
• Important: Remote work only possible within Germany
• Important: Project language in German
• Important: Willingness for SÜ2 security clearance according to § 9 SÜG (confidential/sabotage protection)
• Extension possible until June 30, 2027 (100 person-days remote/ 10 days on-site)

• Ensuring and further developing the application on the cloud with basic capabilities
• Working with PaaS for Data Analytics and Big Data Platform
• Existing data sources from various domains will be centralized, aggregated, prepared, and analyzed
• Building and operating essential application components
• Ensuring deployment processes CI/CD, image ordering and provisioning, automation
• Connecting interfaces and enabling the use of the application for analytical tasks
• Completed degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or comparable qualification
• Required certificate Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
• min. 5 years of experience in the conception and implementation of REST API interfaces (Fast API/Django)
• min. 5 years of experience in Software Architecture (3 Tier Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, Observer, Singleton, Factory, Adapter, Inversion of Control)
• min. 5 years of experience with Python, plotly/matplotlib/seaborn, Dash, Jupyter, PySpark or Flink, Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, Statsmodels
• min. 3 years of experience with Service Interfaces, Event-based communication, asynchronous processing, Message Queues/Brokers
• min. 3 years of experience with container technologies Kubernetes
• min. 3 years of experience in Linux System Administration
• min. 3 years with agile working methods, Scrum, Kanban
• min. 3 years of experience in build automation CI/CD pipelines, GitLab Pipelines
• min. 3 years of experience in application of software quality assurance principles, Code Review, Clean Code, SOLID, static code analysis
• min. 3 years of experience with relational DBs, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL
• min. 1 year of experience in planning/conceptualization as well as execution in data and application migration projects
• min. 1 year of experience with ETL/ELT processes/workflows, MinIO, Apache Airflow, Apache Iceberg, Trino
