Construction Manager Electrical Engineering / Data Technology

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced construction manager to control and monitor construction projects in the field of data and electrical engineering at our Darmstadt location. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors on large industrial construction sites and ensuring that all quality, safety, and standard specifications are met.

Your tasks include monitoring deadlines, costs, and construction progress, as well as documentation and project management using common construction site management software. You will coordinate the various trades, lead construction meetings, and conduct handovers. You will implement relevant standards such as VDE, DIN EN 50173, and DIN EN 50174.

For this position, you have a completed training in electrical engineering, further training as a master craftsman or technician, or a comparable qualification. You have proven professional experience in construction management, ideally on large industrial construction sites. Knowledge in data, network, or electrical engineering is required, as is practical experience with structured building cabling as well as copper and fiber optic technology.

You are proficient in using MS Project, Procore, or comparable software and are familiar with VOB as well as relevant assembly, testing, and acceptance processes. Good German language skills at at least B2 level are necessary. The work takes place on-site.
