We are looking for an experienced freelance Construction Manager for the building construction of a new daycare center (Kita) in Cologne. The role involves overseeing the entire construction process from demolition to completion.

Project
- The demolition of the existing building has already begun. This will be followed by the new construction of a daycare center.
- The usable area is approx. 1,200 m², spread over two floors.
Responsibilities
- On-site supervision and monitoring of the new construction
- Coordination of executing companies and trades
- Quality, schedule, and cost control
- Verification of construction execution for plausibility and quality of execution
- Identification and follow-up of execution errors and defects
- Communication with all project stakeholders
- Documentation and follow-up of measures
Requirements
Our client places great importance on practical construction site experience. We are looking for a construction manager who can identify problems on the construction site early, can reliably manage trades, and has extensive practical construction experience.
Framework Conditions
Ideally, your place of residence should be within daily commuting distance of Cologne, as the project is to be staffed cost-consciously.

- Several years of experience in construction management in building construction
- Foremen, master craftsmen, technicians, or experienced practitioners are explicitly welcome, as are civil engineers
- Strong practical orientation and construction site experience
- Experience in Kita construction is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Project start: November / December 2026
