Specialist Construction Manager Civil Engineering (Natural Gas)

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the implementation of all regulatory requirements, especially those of the LBP and the PFV
• Creating measurements (field measurements) with the construction company, as well as checking and approving measurements
• Optional later process support / consulting
• Accompanying discussions with the client's contractors, internal coordination, and participation in weekly construction meetings
• Technical evaluation of incoming change notifications/addenda, as well as claims for disruption and delay from the construction companies
• Support in the coordination of unexploded ordnance (UXO) detection/clearance, archaeological surveys, dewatering, and any necessary water treatment
• Creation of construction site reports, memos, etc.

• Relevant project experience in construction management of civil engineering measures
• Construction site experience in pipeline and civil engineering, ideally natural gas long-distance pipelines (pipelines)
• Relevant technical and occupational safety knowledge
• Knowledge of general soil science
• Extensive knowledge in the execution of civil engineering and dewatering
• Knowledge in the area of trenchless pipeline installation (bored and pressed methods, horizontal directional drilling, microtunneling, Direct Pipe, Easy Pipe)
• Experience in the area of technical leadership of specialist construction managers
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, are essential
