Project overview

We are looking for an experienced construction manager for a demanding steel bridge construction project. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing all subcontractors and involved trades on-site, ensuring a smooth construction process during a critical project phase.

Your tasks include coordination with project management, the client, and other project stakeholders, as well as monitoring deadlines, quality, occupational safety, and execution on-site. You will support the overall project manager in the successful realization and oversee the final assembly and upcoming insertion of the steel bridge. Quickly identifying and solving technical and organizational challenges on the construction site are among your core responsibilities.

We expect several years of experience in the construction management of steel and bridge construction projects, as well as in-depth knowledge of steel bridge construction, ideally in the area of railway bridges. Project experience within the Deutsche Bahn environment is advantageous. You should have demonstrable experience in demanding and deadline-critical construction phases, as well as with assembly and insertion processes for steel bridges.

High willingness to travel and regular presence on the construction site are required, including weekends if necessary. Good planning and technical understanding to manage complex project situations, assertiveness, resilience in crises, and a high degree of solution orientation are essential for this position.
