We are looking for a Principal Business Analyst as Lead Data Migration Expert for a complex, multi-wave transformation project. The focus is on designing and managing the migration of master, transactional, contract, asset, and customer data from existing systems into a modern target system landscape.

More than 7 years of professional experience at Principal level and experience as a Workstream Lead or sub-project manager in complex data migration programs

• Development and continuation of the data migration strategy including methodology, migration waves, test strategy, and cutover planning
• Creation and quality assurance of the migration concept including quality, test, and acceptance procedures
• Analysis of relevant source and target systems, data models, and interfaces
• Definition of migration objects, data mappings, transformation rules, and business validation rules
• Execution of data quality analyses in the source systems, conception of data cleansing measures, and documentation of the cleansing status
• Coordination with source and target system owners, business departments, and IT teams regarding migration objects, mapping, and data cleansing
• Creation and continuation of a cross-source system migration plan
• Planning, execution, evaluation, and documentation of migration tests and trial migrations
• Conception and execution of reconciliation procedures for the coordination of migrated data sets
• Business quality assurance of the work results of external migration service providers
• Identification, assessment, and documentation of risks, dependencies, data quality issues, and escalation topics, as well as proposing suitable measures
• Consulting on SAP-related migration requirements and interfaces to relevant surrounding systems
• Creation of cutover, go-live, and hypercare planning documents
• Creation of status reports, management documents, and decision proposals ready for decision-making
• At least 2 references for leading productive data migrations as a Workstream Lead or sub-project manager, each with more than 100,000 migrated contracts, assets, or customer objects
• At least 1 reference for migrating data from at least 3 source systems within a migration project
• At least 2 references in a business-responsible role (e.g., sub-project manager or Lead Business Analyst) in projects for the introduction of leasing, fleet, or financing processes
• German language skills at C1 level
