Authorization Management – Atruvia BAP / BWS | Remote

Project overview

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for freelance support in operational authorization management on short notice. You will relieve the internal team in the ongoing administration of the core banking system.

Practical experience in the administration of both Atruvia applications "Bankarbeitsplatz" (BAP) and "Banking-Workspace" (BWS) is absolutely essential. The focus is on operational implementation in daily business.

Responsibilities

• Administration and maintenance of users, roles, competencies, and access rights in BAP and BWS.
• Processing of authorization requests, including creation, modification, and revocation of authorizations.
• Technical implementation of changes to the organizational structure and responsibilities in the core banking system.
• Review of existing authorizations, considering the principle of least privilege and potential conflicts of interest separation.
• Traceable documentation of changes made.
• Execution and support of tests to ensure correct functionality after adjustments.
• Coordination with internal departments on operational authorization issues.

Requirements

Framework conditions

• Demonstrable practical administration experience in BAP and BWS; purely user knowledge is not sufficient for this assignment.
• Several years of experience in user, role, competency, or authorization management, ideally in a banking environment.
• Sound knowledge of Identity and Access Management as well as role-based access control.
• Banking expertise, especially regarding regulatory requirements for authorizations and separation of duties.
• Independent, meticulous, and service-oriented way of working.
• Willingness to take on ongoing administration tasks independently.
• An ITIL certification is an advantage.
• Start: immediately or as soon as possible.
• Duration: until March 31, 2027.
• Utilization: preferably full-time, at least 50%.
• Deployment model: predominantly remote, possibly 1-2 days on-site per quarter by arrangement.
• Contract type: freelance project assignment.
