As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the budget, membership fees, and financial reports of the Bundesverbraucherhilfe. You will report directly to the board and work closely with the accounting and auditing departments.

The position is voluntary. Necessary expenses will be reimbursed according to our travel and expense regulations.

• Preparation and monitoring of the budget plan
• Responsibility for membership fees, payment transactions, and expense reimbursement
• Preparation of the annual financial statements together with the accounting department
• Regular financial reports to the board
• Support for the audit and implementation of its recommendations
• Coordination of tax and non-profit law issues with external consultants
• Establishment of clear processes for approvals and documentation
• Experience in finance, controlling, accounting, or treasury
• Knowledge of association and non-profit law is an advantage
• Numerical accuracy, diligence, and integrity
• Ability to present financial topics understandably
• Reliability with deadlines and closing dates
• A formal degree is not a requirement; your practical experience counts
• A department with direct influence on the operational capacity of the entire association
• Direct communication with the board and all specialist departments
• Professional networking with specialists and managers from law, business, and administration
• Qualified activity certificate and, upon request, a letter of reference
• Access to our further training, specialist conferences, and committee meetings
