Senior Financial Controller with SAP Implementation Experience

Project overview

As Senior Financial Controller, you will support the finance team during the SAP S/4HANA rollout in the Netherlands.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Represent Finance within the SAP S/4HANA rollout project
• Inventory and analyze existing financial processes
• Convert finance requirements into functional specifications for the implementation partner
• Act as a sparring partner for Finance, IT, project management, and external SAP consultants
• Advise on best practices in accounting, reporting, and financial control
• Assess the chosen SAP solutions from a financial perspective
• Participate in setting up and improving financial processes in SAP
• Set up and guide test scenarios, integration tests, and User Acceptance Testing
• Estimate the impact on accounting, reporting, internal control, and compliance
• Guide data migration and reconciliations prior to go-live
• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to end-users during the transition
• Identify risks and propose feasible solutions
• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Economics
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager
• Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
• Demonstrable experience with ERP implementation projects
• Knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA
• Skill in collecting, analyzing, and translating business requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Independent and able to connect different interests
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
