Federal Institute for Real Estate

The Federal Institute for Real Estate (BImA) is the federal government's real estate service provider, supporting the federal government's real estate policy objectives and providing the necessary space and buildings for almost all federal authorities. A monthly supplementary salary of 250 Euros is granted for this position.

Depending on the application situation, an above-tariff advance payment of steps and an additional temporary specialist bonus of up to 1500 Euros per month may be considered.

The department is responsible for supporting security authorities.

Technical skills:

• Assuming operational responsibility for the technical systems and plants within the area of responsibility, including:
• Creating maintenance schedules
• Developing and concluding maintenance and repair contracts
• Ensuring trouble-free operation with in-house personnel
• Technical leadership and management of an operational team
• Development of quality standards and processes for operation, maintenance, and repair
• Planning the maintenance process (inspection, maintenance, repair, improvement/renewal), ensuring the up-to-dateness of maintenance data in the CAFM system
• Coordination with users and building administration
• Handling correspondence
• Participation in consultations and coordination meetings
• Leading the processing of construction measures (project responsibility)
• Creating plans
• Developing tenders for planning offices and construction companies
• Accompanying construction measures
• Carrying out construction measures with building administrations
• Performing commercial and technical tasks
• Completed technical university or university of applied sciences degree (Diplom FH/Bachelor) in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the commissioning, service, and operation of electrical systems
• Sound technical knowledge in the field of medium and low-voltage systems as well as UPS systems
• Experience in technical operations management and working with CAFM systems is desirable
• Ability and willingness to acquire basic knowledge in other building services engineering areas and to work across teams
• Profound PC skills in standard operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Office
