Bid Manager Tram – Rail Industry | Vienna (Hybrid)

Project overview

For a challenging project in the rail and tram sector, we are looking for an experienced Bid Manager Tram with in-depth industry knowledge and experience in managing tender and bidding processes.

You will be responsible for coordinating and preparing bids for projects in the tram or rail vehicle sector, working closely with technical, commercial, and other internal specialist departments. The goal is to create complete, competitive, and timely bids.

Responsibilities

• Management and coordination of tender and bidding processes in the tram or rail sector
• Analysis and evaluation of tender documents as well as technical and commercial requirements
• Coordination of bid preparation in cooperation with Engineering, Purchasing, Project Management, and Controlling
• Ensuring compliance with submission deadlines, quality standards, and formal tender requirements
• Consolidation and review of bid contributions from various specialist departments
• Monitoring costs, risks, deadlines, and bid content
• Preparation and compilation of bid documents and decision-making bases for management

• Understanding of technical and commercial contexts in the rail sector
• Structured, independent, and results-oriented way of working
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to work on-site in Vienna three days a week
• Flexible contract design: Freelance or employment possible
• Exciting project environment in the international rail industry
• Collaboration with various technical and commercial specialist departments
• Assignment in Vienna with three days on-site per week
