📍 The Context

Our client, a major player in the audiovisual industry, is renewing its control rooms to create an operational hub that will produce its television news programs. Go-live is planned for 2028.

The project is based on an IP SMPTE ST 2110 environment, with a virtualized control room back-office in an external data center. It also aims to rationalize workstations and automate production using production automation systems. The editorial system (NRCS) will play a central role.

You will work alongside a project coordinator on the client side, an integrator, and several engineering departments.

🎯 Your Missions

Profile Required

• Coordinate all project stakeholders, keeping end-users (editorial, production teams) at the heart of decisions
• Manage, monitor, and challenge the integrator throughout the project
• Ensure consistency of choices between different departments
• Implement and manage governance (project committees, planning, action plan)
• Lead technical and functional acceptance testing
• Lead workshops, gather needs and workflows, organize feedback sessions
• Write meeting minutes, scoping and tender documents, project documentation, and change management materials
• Identify risks and propose solutions

Requirements

📋 Modalities

• More than 5 years of experience in engineering or technical project management in Broadcast and IT, in France and/or internationally
• Ideally, a former broadcast engineer or project manager who has already led the redesign of a live control room, either for a channel or an integrator
• Very good knowledge of production control rooms (live, continuity) and their equipment: video mixer, audio console, production automation, broadcast controller
• Knowledge of television industry professions
• Experience in managing complex projects with reporting to management
• Mastery of Agile/Scrum and V-cycle methodologies, as well as Jira and Confluence
• ⭐ A real plus: IP SMPTE ST 2110 environment, data center, and virtualization
• Leadership, excellent writing and interpersonal skills, enjoyment of multidisciplinary teamwork
• Long-term mission (up to 3 years), renewable in 3-month periods
• Paris – at least 60% on-site, remote work possible the rest of the time
• Possible on-call duty on weekends and public holidays
• Start date: as soon as possible
