• Independent processing of financial accounting with DATEV and according to HGB
• Booking and reconciliation of creditors, debtors, banks, and general ledger accounts
• Preparation of monthly financial statements, including provisions and accruals
• Account reconciliation and maintenance of fixed assets in the system
• Preparation of statutory reports such as Bundesbank reports according to AWV
• Support with annual financial statements and tax returns with tax advisors
• Preparation of management reports and performance of variance analyses in Excel
• Analysis of unusual financial developments for early risk detection
• Initiation and implementation of process optimizations in accounting, e.g., automation with DATEV or Excel macros
• Assumption of administrative tasks in the area of Finance & Operations

• Completed training as a tax assistant, a commercial apprenticeship with further training as a financial accountant, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, HGB accounting, and VAT law
• Practical knowledge of DATEV and MS Excel, e.g., pivot tables or formulas
• Know-how in balance sheet, P&L preparation, and fixed asset accounting, as well as statutory reporting obligations
• Understanding of common process optimization methods such as digitalization or automation
• Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
