Business Analyst - AI December | AI Strategy & Business Analysis | Remote

For one of our clients in the energy sector, we are looking for a certified Business Analyst with a focus on Artificial Intelligence to support an AI initiative.

The goal of the project is to identify, technically analyze, and support the introduction of AI-driven solutions. This involves prioritizing use cases, translating requirements into actionable concepts, and evaluating economic viability, risks, and added value. A special focus is placed on responsible, transparent, and sovereign use of AI, considering governance, compliance, and security requirements.

Framework conditions:

• Conducting and moderating workshops for the identification, analysis, and prioritization of AI use cases
• Gathering, structuring, and documenting business requirements from various stakeholders
• Creating and evaluating business cases, including ROI, TCO, and business impact analyses
• Analyzing the technical and organizational feasibility of AI solutions
• Developing business concepts and user stories for AI projects
• Coordination between business departments, architects, development teams, and management
• Building and maintaining a prioritized AI use case portfolio, including a roadmap
• Supporting the design of operating models, governance structures, and change measures
• Preparing decision-making bases for management and steering committees
• Documenting results and ensuring the quality of business requirements
• Experience in business analysis and strategic evaluation of AI use cases
• Experience in AI use case management, particularly in ideation, prioritization, and portfolio steering
• Sound knowledge in developing business cases and in ROI, TCO, and business impact analyses
• Experience in requirements engineering, requirements management, and process analysis
• Knowledge in process modeling, process optimization, and business concept development and specification of AI solutions
• Experience in stakeholder and decision management at business and management levels
• Knowledge in AI governance, Responsible AI, and the EU AI Act
• Experience with change management and operating model design
• Knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as in workshop moderation and Design Thinking
• Experience with user stories, backlog management, acceptance criteria, and test and quality management
• Confident use of Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365
• Very good skills in documentation, reporting, and presentation
