Business Analyst – Capital Markets Strategies (CMS) / Data Hub

Project overview

Mission Context

The client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst in capital markets to strengthen its IT team and participate in the development and maintenance of its Capital Market Strategies (CMS) platform.

The consultant will act at the interface between business teams and IT teams. They will collaborate in particular with Front Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Data Management, and ESG teams, as well as with external partners.

They will report to the IT CMS manager.

• Gather and analyze business needs.
• Translate needs into functional requirements.
• Propose technical solutions in coordination with IT teams.
• Write functional specifications.
• Support testing and acceptance phases.
• Manage projects from design to production.
• Monitor deadlines, budget, quality, scope, and dependencies.
• Ensure progress tracking and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
• Coordination and Knowledge Management
• Collaborate with different teams and contacts located at multiple sites.
• Ensure the transfer and documentation of functional and technical knowledge.
• Act as the link between business users, technical teams, and external providers.
• Contribute to the sustainability and evolution of the platform.
• Governance and Communication
• Prepare activity reports for internal teams and management.
• Organize and lead steering committees.
• Prepare and lead workshops with business teams.
• Facilitate communication between different stakeholders throughout the project.
• Good command of capital markets.
• Good knowledge of financial instruments, particularly interest rate products (Fixed Income).
• Proven experience in asset management.
• Good understanding of the application lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, delivery, and support.
• Experience in database querying, data transformation, and automation.
• Knowledge of Data Hub environments.

• Fluent English essential.
