Project overview

Mission Context

Within the Data Consulting and Valorization department of a major insurance group (based in Niort), you will join the "Data Solutions" team. Your role will be to act as the interface between business departments and technical teams to maximize the value derived from the Group's data assets.

Main Missions

As a functional Data referent, your responsibilities will revolve around four areas:

Business Support and Consulting:

Maintain close proximity with business departments to identify and stimulate Data uses.

Conduct opportunity studies and provide strategic advice on data exploitation.

Functional Scoping and Design:

Gather, analyze, and formalize business needs.

Write functional deliverables (General and Detailed Functional Specifications - SFG/SFD).

Model data and ensure the functional consistency of the Information System.

Project Management and Quality:

Participate in project scoping (impact studies, technical and financial feasibility).

Ensure commitments are met (quality, costs, deadlines) and end-user satisfaction.

Testing and Support:

Define and execute test plans (functional testing).

Qualify anomalies and ensure follow-up of corrections with development teams.

Maintain the documentation base of the Data assets.

Profile Required

Experience and Technical Expertise

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience on complex Data projects (Business Intelligence or Big Data IS).

Technical Ecosystem: Good knowledge of classic Business Intelligence environments (Oracle, Informatica) and Big Data platforms (Cloudera).

Modeling: Mastery of functional data modeling techniques.

Transverse Skills

Sector: Imperative knowledge of the Insurance sector.

Data Management: Strong sensitivity to data governance, quality, and compliance issues.

Attitude: Excellent analytical skills, listening skills, and writing ability.
