Business Analyst Data Management (interim)

Project overview

As a Business Analyst Data Management, you will translate the business needs of the Ministry of Defence into requirements for data products and a data management platform.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Contribute to the preparation of the organization-wide business plan
• Analyze business requirements and related design processes
• Support digital transformation by identifying areas for improvement in business processes
• Propose suitable ICT solutions within the applicable ICT strategy
• Prepare business cases for the proposed solutions
• Analyze necessary information and documentation
• Develop a plan for business continuity
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience in a role matching the eCF profile Business Analyst
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a business analyst in the field of data and data management
• Experience with the setup and implementation of enterprise data management or data governance platforms
• Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 4 years of work experience at a Bachelor's level of work and thinking
• Familiar with data management concepts, including metadata management, data catalog, data quality, lineage & provenance, privacy, data modeling, master/reference data, and data security
• Good understanding of data, data sources, datasets, metadata, data models, and data products and their interrelationships
• Experience in translating wishes from business and governance into requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Agile certification or at least 1 year of experience working with Agile
• Experience within a complex, preferably federated organization
• In possession of the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certificate
• Work experience gained within central government, preferably within the security domain
• VOG and VGB screening required
