Business Analyst – Data Validation and Test Support

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (m/f/d) to support a project in the area of data management and system integration. You will be part of a distributed team and contribute significantly to ensuring data quality.

Your tasks include analyzing and validating large datasets using SQL, examining data flows, transformations, and loading logic. You will support technical tests during data migrations and interface conversions, validate interfaces and functional adapters, and oversee the implementation of data processing solutions. Furthermore, you will plan and conduct test activities, document test results, and analyze and resolve errors and deviations in close coordination with IT teams.

Requirements

The project runs until June 2027. Most of the work is done remotely; about 5 days on-site in Frankfurt are required.

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Test Analyst, or comparable role
• Very good SQL skills and experience in data analysis
• Sound knowledge of data flows, transformations, and loading logic
• Proven experience with system conversions and data migrations
• Strong analytical skills in designing complex data processing rules
• Competence in error management and defect tracking
• Experience in test management, test analysis, and test data definition
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams
• Knowledge in the ETL environment is desirable
