Business Analyst Finance – Accounting Consolidation Process Documentation

Project overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst Finance for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, specializing in business documentation and project communication. You will join a large-scale transformation program: the redesign of the accounting consolidation process for a major banking group, with new reporting solutions and a new consolidation engine.

Your role: to make the future closing process clear, structured, and easy for the Finance teams to adopt.

Profile sought

You have solid knowledge of Finance processes, ideally accounting closing, consolidation, or financial and regulatory reporting. You have previously participated in Finance transformation projects or the implementation of Finance tools, and have written procedures, user guides, and operating procedures. You are proficient in PowerPoint and executive communication standards. Your writing skills are excellent in French and English. You know how to interact with business, project, and IT teams. Synthesis skills, autonomy, and rigor are your strengths, in a fast-evolving environment.

BAC+4/5 degree in finance, management, or business/engineering school.

• Participate in design workshops to understand the functional and organizational changes of the target process.
• Structure and consolidate information produced by the business, project, and IT teams.
• Write and maintain reference documentation: principles, processes, roles, and responsibilities.
• Formalize detailed operating procedures for process execution and solution usage.
• Produce diagrams, maps, and user journeys to facilitate understanding.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for governance bodies and the Finance department.
• Ensure documentary consistency across the program's different domains.
