Business Analyst Healthcare – Order Entry Systems (EPIC / CGM Channel)

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Business Analyst Healthcare – Order Entry Systems (EPIC / CGM Channel) (m/f/d) to support an ongoing project, starting immediately.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of existing order entry processes and the current system landscape
• Functional and conceptual evaluation of the Epic Order Entry model compared to CGM Channel
• Conducting a comprehensive feature, function, and process comparison of both solutions
• Identification and evaluation of advantages and disadvantages regarding functionality, usability, and process support
• Analysis of the impact on the processes of the client as well as affiliated clinics and referring physicians
• Evaluation of organizational, functional, and technical impacts of the respective solution
• Coordination with national and international stakeholders, especially with contacts at Epic
• Conducting workshops and interviews for requirements gathering and validation
• Creation of a neutral basis for decision-making for management and specialist departments
• Documentation of results, including recommendations for action

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or Solution Architect in the healthcare sector
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Experience in conducting system, process, or tool evaluations
• Understanding of hospital, laboratory, or diagnostics processes
• Experience with order entry, laboratory information, or clinical information systems
• Practical experience with at least one of the following solutions:
• Epic
• CGM Channel or comparable CGM solutions
• Ability to present complex functional and technical issues in a target-group-oriented manner
• Experience in creating management presentations, decision papers, and evaluation concepts
