We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in Healthcare Order Entry Systems (EPIC / CGM Channel) to support an ongoing project. The role involves analyzing existing processes, comparing system models, and documenting findings.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for a Business Analyst Healthcare – Order Entry Systems (EPIC / CGM Channel) (m/f/d) to support the ongoing project, starting immediately.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of existing order entry processes and the current system landscape
- Functional and conceptual evaluation of the Epic Order Entry model compared to CGM Channel
- Comprehensive feature, function, and process comparison of both solutions
- Identification and evaluation of advantages and disadvantages regarding functionality, usability, and process support
- Analysis of the impact on the processes of the client as well as affiliated clinics and referring physicians
- Evaluation of organizational, functional, and technical impacts of each solution
- Coordination with national and international stakeholders, especially with contacts at Epic
- Conducting workshops and interviews for requirements gathering and validation
- Creation of a neutral basis for decision-making for management and specialist departments
- Documentation of results, including recommendations for action
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or Solution Architect in the healthcare environment
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Experience in conducting system, process, or tool evaluations
- Understanding of hospital, laboratory, or diagnostics processes
- Experience with order entry, laboratory information, or clinical information systems
- Practical experience with at least one of the following solutions:
- Epic
- CGM Channel or comparable CGM solutions
- Ability to present complex functional and technical issues in a target-group-oriented manner
- Experience in creating management presentations, decision papers, and evaluation concepts
Nice to have
- Experience with Epic implementation or transformation projects
- Knowledge of laboratory request and reporting processes
- Experience with HL7, FHIR, or healthcare integrations
- Experience with technology or platform evaluations in healthcare
