Business Analyst in the SWIFT Environment

Project overview

Support in the project as a Business Analyst in the SWIFT environment (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).

In this role, you will analyze and evaluate requirements from customers and business units and ensure their structured transfer into implementation.

Task Description:

• Analysis and concretization of requirements together with customers and internal business units
• Technical elaboration of requirements together with business units and development teams and estimation of implementation efforts
• Reconciliation of new requirements with existing requirements and ongoing projects
• Creation of an implementation roadmap and identification of overlaps and dependencies with ongoing / planned projects
• Creation of decision proposals for top management
• Structuring of requirements with Jira and Confluence as well as linking with existing agile processes

Requirements

• German (written and spoken, minimum level C1)
• English (written and spoken)
• Communication skills, creativity, and a team player mentality are prerequisites
• Fundamental understanding of market infrastructures in the securities environment and their cooperation model (central securities depositories, custodians, custodian banks)
• Several years of experience in business analysis, particularly in the SWIFT environment
• Very good detailed knowledge of SWIFT MT and ISO-15022 and 20022/MX messages
• Experience with API-based interfaces and integration solutions
• Agile project experience (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience with SWIFTNet, RMA
• Knowledge in the area of ESMIG, T2/T2S, Bundesbank connections
• Experience with SWIFT CSP (Customer Security Programme)
• Knowledge in the securities and payment transactions environment
• Experience in operating business-critical financial market applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic decisions, even under time pressure
• Organizational skills as well as a good sense for priorities and parallel project strands
• Team orientation combined with assertiveness to bring projects successfully to go-live

Project details

Remote/on-site portions are always agreed upon with the end customer.

Willingness to work on-site in the project is a prerequisite.
