Business Analyst IT Market Finance - Security Finance - M/F

Project overview

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst for a long-term assignment with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, as a permanent employee of Ingéniance. The client is expanding its business in Security Finance products (repo and securities lending) and is deploying a new front-to-back office platform for this purpose. You will be at the heart of this program, from requirements analysis to production deployment.

Your missions:

The topics cover pricing, risk, trade and event processing, and accounting, for the front office, operations, risk, and finance teams.

Profile sought

You have proven experience (approximately 2 to 5 years) in IT Business Analysis on market finance projects, ideally on repo or securities lending products. Educated to Master's degree level (engineering school, university, or equivalent). You are proficient in writing functional specifications, constructing test cases, and conducting UAT. Good knowledge of market pricing, risk, or accounting is an asset. A good professional level of English is necessary, as the documentation is in English. You are rigorous, comfortable with both business and technical teams, and you enjoy following a solution from end to end.

• Participate in the scoping and design of the solution, across the various aspects of the platform.
• Write functional specifications for developers: system configuration and interfaces with other applications.
• Write test cases to validate the solution.
• Validate the developments delivered against the defined test cases.
• Train end-users on the implemented solution.
• Contribute to the coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support the production deployment.
• Provide Level 3 production support: analysis, problem-solving, and bug fixing.
