Responsibilities

• Analysis and further development of business processes and requirements in the life insurance sector
• Recording, analysis, and structuring of requirements from business departments, actuarial science, and product management
• Translation of actuarial and business requirements into implementable business and technical requirements
• Creation of business concepts, user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Analysis and modeling of business processes and operational workflows within life insurance
• Business support for the implementation of requirements in the relevant policy administration and application systems
• Analysis and evaluation of calculation logics, tariffs, and actuarial relationships
• Support in the implementation and further development of life insurance products
• Coordination between actuarial science, business departments, IT, and development
• Business review and quality assurance of implemented requirements
• Creation of test cases and support for business, integration, and acceptance tests
• Analysis of errors and business deviations and support for corresponding corrections
• Documentation of requirements, processes, decisions, and implementation results

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or Actuary in the insurance environment
• Mandatory: sound practical experience in the field of life insurance
• Very good understanding of products, tariffs, processes, and business logic of life insurance
• Sound knowledge of actuarial relationships and calculation logics
• Experience in the analysis and specification of complex business requirements
• Experience at the interface between actuarial science, business departments, and IT
• Knowledge of life insurance policy administration systems and their business processes
• Experience in creating business concepts, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience in the business support of software development and transformation projects
• Good knowledge of test conception, business quality assurance, and acceptance tests
• Structured and analytical working method as well as strong communication skills
• Very good German language skills
