Business Analyst, OSPlus

Project overview

For an IT service provider in the financial and banking sector with central locations in Hanover and Münster, we are looking for a qualified professional as a Business Analyst or IT Business Analyst with a focus on OSPlus-Kredit starting January 1, 2027. In this responsible position, you will support future-oriented digitalization projects in the savings bank environment.

• Utilization: Full-time (100%)
• Location: 80–90% Remote / Home Office, the rest on-site in Hanover or Münster

Responsibilities

• Structured collection, analysis, and functional specification of business and technical requirements in lending business based on OSPlus.
• Analysis and further development of end-to-end lending processes (e.g., consumer loans, construction financing, or commercial lending) in the OSPlus environment.
• Close collaboration and functional coordination with business departments, architecture, development, and testing teams.
• Creation of functional concepts, preparation and support of system tests, acceptances, and support of implementation phases in the institutions.
• Continuous consultation of the involved project teams and complete documentation of business processes and system adjustments

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or Computer Science; alternatively, a completed banking or commercial apprenticeship (e.g., Bank Clerk) with relevant IT focus.
• Sound practical professional experience in business analysis or IT consulting in the banking or savings bank sector.
• Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge of the core banking system OSPlus, especially in the OSPlus-Kredit module/area.
• Familiarity with agile and classic project management and analysis methods (e.g., Scrum, User Stories, Process Modeling).
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, for smooth technical communication and documentation
