Business Analyst SIS 50% – IREB/CAS Business Analysis/UML/MID Innovator/Agile

For a demanding project in the environment of the Schengen Information System (SIS), we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (925127JP). In this role, you will professionally analyze, specify, and model requirements with a focus on security-critical, international systems. You will work in an agile team closely with business departments, development, and testing, using modern requirements engineering and modeling tools (UML, MID Innovator, Confluence, Jira).

Responsibilities

– Recording, analyzing, and structuring business and system requirements in the context of the Schengen Information System (SIS)

– Modeling business and system requirements using UML and MID Innovator (Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Class Diagrams, etc.)

– Creating and maintaining business and technical user stories and epics for agile teams

– Coordinating and clarifying requirements with business departments, Product Owners, architects, and development teams

– Ensuring traceability, consistency, and quality of requirements throughout the entire lifecycle

– Supporting the test team in deriving test cases and in functional acceptance

– Contributing to the continuous improvement of analysis, documentation, and modeling processes

Requirements

– You have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including in agile teams

– Sound practical experience in modeling with MID Innovator

– Experience in creating business and technical stories (User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria)

– Experience with the Schengen Information System (SIS) is a great advantage, ideally in international or governmental environments

– Structured, analytical, and precise way of working, high quality and security orientation

– Strong communication and coordination skills with various stakeholders

Education:

– Completed education in IT or Business Informatics or a comparable field

– IREB certification or equivalent (CAS Business Analysis)

Languages:

– German native/business fluent

– Good language skills (minimum B2) in French are mandatory
