Temporary | Bern | Hybrid | Start: January 2027

For our client in the Bern region, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with partial responsibility in the role of Product Owner according to SAFe. In this demanding function, you will make a significant contribution to the operation and further development of a central case management system, while simultaneously supporting a strategic digitalization and transformation program.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the stable operation and continuous development of a business-critical application
• Analysis, collection, and documentation of business requirements in close cooperation with business departments and IT stakeholders
• Modeling and optimization of business processes
• Creation, prioritization, and maintenance of user stories as well as management of the product backlog
• Support of the Product Owner function within a SAFe environment
• Planning, coordination, and execution of test and acceptance activities
• Analysis and support in resolving complex incidents and problems
• Participation in a strategic digitalization project to replace an existing legacy solution
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams as well as internal and external stakeholders

• Several years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT or digitalization projects
• IREB CPRE Foundation Level (CPRE-FL) certification
• Experience in requirements analysis and requirements engineering
• Practical experience in creating and prioritizing user stories and in backlog management
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, ideally in a SAFe environment
• German language skills C1 and French language skills B1
• Experience working with Product Owners or taking on corresponding partial responsibility
• Experience in digitalization or transformation projects
• Knowledge in test management and in conducting business acceptances
• Location: Bern region, willingness to travel within the canton of Bern and throughout Switzerland required
• Remote share: up to 50%, initially likely a higher on-site share (approx. 80%)
• Duration: January 2027 to December 2028, option for long-term extension up to a maximum of 2032 possible
