C# Developer - SQL/Data Analysis - Banking

Project details

London - Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Contract: 6 months

IR35: Inside IR35 - Umbrella company required

We are recruiting for an experienced C# Developer with strong SQL and data analysis skills to support business-critical regulatory reporting systems within a banking environment.

This position requires more than traditional application development. We are looking for a hands-on developer who can combine C# development expertise with advanced SQL skills, investigate complex data issues and independently identify and implement technical solutions.

You will be working on regulatory reporting projects where data accuracy, system performance and delivery against demanding deadlines are essential.

Key Skills & Experience

Desirable Experience

We are particularly interested in C# Developers who have substantial hands-on SQL experience and enjoy investigating data and system issues, rather than those focused solely on application development from predefined specifications.

If you have strong C# and SQL skills, combined with a practical, analytical approach to problem-solving, please apply with your CV.

  • Strong commercial C# development experience.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, performance tuning and query optimisation.
  • Proven experience investigating and resolving data-related issues, including data discrepancies and performance problems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience working with complex, data-intensive applications and systems.
  • Ability to understand business processes, analyse technical issues and work independently to resolve problems.
  • Comfortable working in environments with demanding delivery timescales and high quality standards.
  • Previous experience within banking or financial services.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting processes, systems or projects.
  • Experience implementing, supporting or maintaining third-party regulatory reporting software.
  • Understanding of data quality and reporting requirements within regulated environments.
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: City of London, UK, GB
  • Rate: 50-53 EUR/h
