CAD Designer Mechanical and Plant Engineering

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer (m/f/d) for our team in mechanical and plant engineering. You will work hybrid at our location in North Rhine-Westphalia and design technical solutions from idea to production.

Your tasks include the creation and modification of technical drawings as well as 2D/3D CAD designs. You will design and detail components, assemblies, and plant components, adapt existing designs, and create manufacturing, assembly, and detail drawings. Furthermore, you will manage CAD data, maintain parts lists and technical documentation, and support the constructive optimization of existing machines and plants. Coordination of technical solutions with adjacent departments and production is also part of your responsibilities.

You have successfully completed training as a Technical Product Designer or Technical Draftsman, ideally supplemented by further training as a technician or a comparable qualification. Sound experience in CAD design in mechanical and plant engineering as well as proficient knowledge of common 2D/3D CAD systems such as Creo, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor are required. You have good technical understanding, ideally with knowledge of design for manufacturing, and work in a structured, careful, and solution-oriented manner. Teamwork and initiative characterize you.
