Project overview

From a functional perspective, Calypso Back-Office allows for:

The mission is structured around 5 axes, for which technical and functional expertise will be required.

o The entity is in charge of projects for business lines (opening new markets, new brokers) and users (data reporting, enrichment of interfaces communicating with Calypso).

The main project in 2020, on which the consultant will contribute, will be the Emden project (primarily on the Prime Brokerage instance).

o Gathering and analyzing user needs

o Specification of new functionalities or interfaces to internal development teams or to the editor

o Implementation of functional acceptance testing and non-regression testing

o Development of functional test scenarios (manual and/or automated)

o Anticipation of necessary functional evolutions in coordination with the editor

o Drafting procedures and ensuring user change management

o Analysis and correction of Level 3 issues in relation with functional support entities

o Proposals for solutions to implement: reduction of support workload, improvement of Middle Office-Back Office operational processes

o Assistance in upskilling the entity

o Verification and validation of certain assistance provided in India

o Facilitating communication between sites

o Contribution to transversal Calypso Global Market topics

• Global Market – 10%: Assistance to Calypso entities in the cross-asset transition of Global Market
• The back-office operations entities of different bank entities
• Development entities based in France and India
• Business Analyst/IT entities in charge of client applications
• Process expertise, Front Office entities, project managers, regulatory entities, finance, trade support, production support
• Our partners: Custodian agents, brokers, CCPs, clients
• Various tasks related to Business Analysis (gathering needs, writing specifications, acceptance testing, non-regression testing...)
• Project management (Scoping, planning, risk identification, governance, reporting, organizing change management sessions, etc.)
