Calypso Developer

For a long-term transformation and development program in the capital markets environment, we are looking for experienced Calypso Developers to strengthen an existing delivery team.

The project environment includes the further development of a strategic Calypso platform for front, middle, and back-office processes in the banking environment. The platform supports, among other things, trading and post-trading processes for derivatives, repo transactions, bonds, and other capital market products.

• Project start: from Q1/Q2 2027
• Duration: long-term project with a planned deployment period of at least 12 months
• Location: Stuttgart (regular on-site appointments) and remote possible
• Utilization: Full-time preferred
• Language: German fluent (at least C1) and English proficient
• Industry: Banking / Capital Markets
• IMPORTANT: Demonstrable Calypso Development experience is a mandatory requirement. Profiles without concrete Calypso project experience cannot be considered.

• Technical design and development within the Calypso platform
• Implementation of extensions and customizations
• Development and optimization of interfaces
• Analysis and resolution of technical errors
• Execution of unit and integration tests
• Technical documentation of developed solutions
• Support with releases and deployments
• Collaboration with business analysts, business units, and infrastructure teams
• Participation in modernization and migration initiatives
• Ensuring code quality and sustainable solution architectures
• Several years of experience in development with Calypso
• Very good knowledge of Java
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Sound understanding of Calypso data models
• Experience with integrations and interfaces in the Calypso environment
• Experience in the banking or capital markets environment
• Knowledge of front, middle, or back-office processes
• German at least C1
• English at least B2
