Camunda Expert

Project overview

We are looking for a Camunda Expert for a 3-month renewable mission in Niort.

Context

As part of the industrialization of its process orchestration platform, our client is looking for a Camunda expert capable of intervening on the architecture, deployment, and operation of the solution in a containerized OpenShift environment, as well as advising on hosting choices (self-managed vs managed services).

Assets

• Design and evolve the Camunda technical architecture
• Deploy and maintain Camunda on OpenShift (Helm charts, operators, resource management, routes, security, SCC)
• Implement high availability, scalability, and platform monitoring (Zeebe brokers, Operate, Tasklist, Optimize, Identity / Keycloak, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch)
• Advise on hosting strategy: Camunda SaaS, self-managed, use of managed services (databases, search engines, managed Kubernetes like ROSA / ARO), with analysis of costs, security, and operability
• Support development teams (BPMN, DMN, workers, connectors, best practices)
• Integrate the platform into the CI/CD chain and DevOps / GitOps practices
• Significant experience (5 years and more) with Camunda, with at least one production deployment in a Kubernetes environment
• Concrete experience with OpenShift is essential
• Well-reasoned vision of managed services: ability to compare self-managed and managed, identify what should be outsourced or not, and defend recommendations
• Mastery of Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins…)
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Keycloak, and monitoring issues (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Java / Spring Boot appreciated
• Consulting posture, ability to interact with architecture and infrastructure teams
• Camunda and/or Red Hat (OpenShift) certification
• Experience on a public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience migrating Camunda 7 to Camunda 8
