Background:

Roche Diagnostics Sensor & Cartridge (S&C) Operations Rotkreuz consists of experts in the manufacturing and testing of electrochemical electrodes, thick-film sensor cartridges, and calibration and cleaning fluids for blood gas analysis devices, supporting point-of-care customers in the intensive care monitoring and treatment of patients.

As a Quality Control (QC) Specialist, you will support the testing and release process for reagents and be involved in improving associated process specifications and work instructions.

The Perfect Candidate:

The perfect candidate has completed vocational training in a chemical laboratory and has further professional experience with chemical/pharmaceutical products and GMP knowledge. We are also looking for a communicative and team-oriented personality who is looking for a company where they have the opportunity to pursue interests across functions.

• Goods receipt, intermediate, final, and stability control of S&C reagents as well as
• starting materials, intermediate products, and final products
• Evaluation of test results and documentation of analysis results
• Ensuring and documenting according to GxP guidelines
• Creating reports and general documents
• Communication, interaction, and collaboration with internal interfaces (e.g.
• Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Facility Management)
• Review of analysis results and test documentation
• Performing SAP transactions
• Participation in laboratory organization and planning as well as maintaining laboratory routine
• (e.g. ordering, cleaning, maintenance)
• Participation in projects
• Introducing team members, assisting in the training of QC team members or
• other employees in SOPs and test methods for which the employee is qualified
• Willingness to assist/rotate in other departments with similar skillsets
• Education/Studies: Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician EFZ or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
• Professional Experience: Laboratory experience (min 1 year) required; experience in quality control, physical-chemical testing, or medical laboratory diagnostics is advantageous
• GMP Experience Required? Experience with GMP (especially good documentation practices)
• Strong affinity for careful and precise work, high quality awareness
• Flexible and communicative team player
• Experience in quality control with Medical Diagnostics
• SAP knowledge
