Cloud Engineer

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Conception and architecture of cloud solutions for business-critical applications
• Development of tools and frameworks for deployment and platform management
• Identification and implementation of architectural and process improvements
• Ensuring scalability, high availability, monitoring, and backup and restore capabilities
• Implementation of modern cloud security concepts
• Error analysis and troubleshooting in infrastructure and application landscapes
• Setup and optimization of automated build and deployment processes
• Support for cloud migration projects
• Assisting development teams with the migration of existing applications to the cloud

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Cloud Engineer in complex project environments
• Very good AWS knowledge
• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Knowledge in CDK
• Profound knowledge in networks, cloud security, and virtualization
• Good English skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless technologies
• Development skills in Java
• AWS certification
