Cloud Identity Security Engineer (IAM/OAuth)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Identity Security Engineer to support our cybersecurity infrastructure. This freelance position is based remotely in the EU and offers the opportunity to work on modern identity and access management solutions.

Requirements

You have at least 5 years of experience in cloud security or identity engineering. Practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT implementation is essential, including token issuance, validation, and exchange processes. You have production experience with On-Behalf-Of and token exchange flows (RFC 8693 or equivalent). Furthermore, you have sound knowledge of enterprise identity federation with common platforms, as well as secure credential and secret management and token lifecycle management (rotation, vaulting).

Experience with modern cloud-native technologies, gateway authentication, API-to-API authentication patterns, and policy management systems is advantageous.

The position is initially limited until the end of January 2027. The salary is negotiable and depends on your qualifications and experience. You will work fully remotely and have the flexibility to operate from anywhere in the EU.
