Cloud Platform Engineer

Project overview

For our client, we are currently looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d) for the construction and further development of modern cloud and Kubernetes infrastructures.

Responsibilities

An utilization of 3-4 days per week is planned for the project.

• Conception and deployment of modern cloud infrastructures in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure using Terraform
• Further development and optimization of existing cloud environments
• Construction and technical further development of Kubernetes infrastructures in cloud as well as on-premises environments
• Refactoring of existing Kubernetes and infrastructure components
• Implementation and further development of Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps-based approaches

Requirements

• Several years of experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud and Azure
• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Linux, and Git
• Sound experience with GitOps, e.g. Argo CD or Flux
• Good knowledge of CI/CD and Observability, e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Prometheus or Grafana
• Fluent German language skills
