Seeking a Cloud Service Engineer with expertise in Azure, IAAS, SAAS, and PAAS for a long-term project involving cloud maintenance, administration, and automation. The role requires 5 days/week availability and offers a hybrid work model with remote options and on-site team days in Vienna.
Project overview
Additional support services in the area of cloud maintenance and administration.
Azure Cloud Administration
Execution of automation projects in the Azure cloud environment
Support and further development of cloud services
Database administration, performance and capacity planning
Support of an enterprise Microsoft and Linux environments (Microsoft
Windows Server, Redhat, Ubuntu, etc.)
Support, consulting and guidance of projects
Support with support cases and error analysis
Execution of deployments and change requests
Creation of documentation
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
The team / person(s) deployed by the company must meet the following minimum requirements:
Administration expertise in Microsoft Cloud Azure and environment
Cloud Management (IAAS, SAAS, PAAS)
Active Directory / Azure AD
Understanding of how cloud computing resources are migrated
Operating system administration: Windows Server 2019 and higher, Linux
Database administration: MS-SQL, MySql, CosmosDb etc.
Middleware: Various
Scripting: Powershell, Azure CLI, Bicep
Development experience an advantage (.NET)
IaC and pipeline deployment according to DevOps principles
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
German language skills in speaking and writing at matriculation level
English B2
Impeccable personal conduct – proof by criminal record extract upon request
Willingness to work flexible hours
Willingness to perform additional work
Hands-on mentality
Teamwork skills
- Knowledge of the principles and the way cloud services work.
