Seeking a CMS Consultant with a focus on frontend, accessibility, and editorial processes to support the development and enhancement of central CMS portals and digitalization initiatives in the public sector.

Project
For the professional support and further development of central CMS portals, we are looking for a CMS Consultant with a focus on frontend, accessibility, and editorial processes. You will support the further development of modern administrative portals and digitalization initiatives in the public sector.
Framework Conditions
- Start: 02.10.2026
- Duration: initially 12 months with an option to extend up to a total of 4 years
- Full-time
- High proportion of remote work possible
Responsibilities
- Consultation of editorial and operations teams
- Analysis of professional and political requirements
- Development and maintenance of design guides
- Creation and further development of templates
- Development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap 5
- Maintenance and further development of plugins
- Implementation of BITV and usability requirements
- Version control with Git
- Ticket processing and requirements management with Jira
- Creation of releases and installation instructions
- Support with CMS migrations
- Participation in digitalization projects in the public sector
- Interface between specialist departments, editorial, and operations
- Error analysis in 2nd level support
- Support for the operation of media servers and DAM solutions

- Experience in professional CMS administration or CMS consulting
- Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
- Experience with Git and Jira
- Knowledge of Drupal and/or OpenText WSM is an advantage
- Experience with accessibility (BITV/BFSG)
- Experience with template development and frontend adjustments
- Ideally, experience in the public sector
- German at least C1 level
