• Develop and deliver communications and stakeholder engagement strategies
• Lead internal and external communications across multiple stakeholder groups
• Create high-quality briefings, FAQs, lines to take, and engagement materials
• Manage communications with government departments, suppliers, and senior stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with communications teams, press offices, and leadership groups
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and provide communications advice to senior leaders
• Support reactive communications and correspondence within tight timescales
• Drive engagement and participation across a fast-paced transformation programme
• Extensive experience leading communications and engagement activities for large-scale transformation programmes
• Strong stakeholder management experience across complex organisational environments
• Experience engaging with senior leaders, executives, or government stakeholders
• Ability to produce high-quality briefings, communications, and correspondence at pace
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship-building and influencing capabilities
• Experience working within government, public sector, or highly regulated environments desirable
• SC Clearance required

The role:

A Government organisation is seeking an experienced Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Lead to support a high-profile digital transformation programme. You will be responsible for developing and delivering communications strategies, managing stakeholder engagement, and supporting senior leaders across a complex government environment. Based on the role description, the focus is on leading communications activity for a major central buying initiative within government.
