Construction Management Specialist

Project overview

For our client in the telecommunications infrastructure sector, we are looking for a Specialist Construction Management (m/f/d) to support in the area of mast construction and mobile infrastructure as soon as possible. In this position, you will take on a central interface function between sales, planning, general contractors, and construction execution. You will review technical concepts for new builds and expansions of existing mobile sites and accompany projects from the initial technical assessment to acceptance and billing.

Responsibilities

Technical assessment and review of mobile mast projects regarding their structural and static feasibility. Review and assessment of static calculations and technical planning documents from external engineering firms and general contractors. Evaluation of whether planned mast configurations, additional platforms, and expansions of existing sites are technically feasible. Review of new mast constructions, mast reinforcements, and expansions of existing mobile sites. Assessment of additional requirements by other mobile network operators such as Vodafone or Telefónica.

Technical and economic review of general contractor offers. Control and coordination of commissioned planning and construction services. Monitoring of construction execution regarding quality, costs, and contractual implementation. Accompanying acceptances as well as review of measurements and billing. Ensuring complete technical project documentation. Close coordination with internal departments, sales, planners, and external project participants.

Requirements

Completed degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification. Alternatively, a completed technical apprenticeship with corresponding professional experience. Ideally, experience in the field of telecommunications, mobile infrastructure, or mast construction. Experience in the technical assessment and review of planning and execution documents. Ability to read, understand, and professionally evaluate static calculations and proofs. Knowledge of steel construction, civil engineering, or structural building construction is an advantage.

Understanding of construction costs, offer calculations, and the review of construction billing. Experience in coordinating general contractors and external planning offices. Structured and independent way of working as well as strong communication skills at technical interfaces. Very good German language skills.

01.12.2026. Utilization: Full-time 3 days on-site & 2 days remote.

18 months with option to extend.

Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Leverkusen, Berlin, Dortmund or Munich.
