Construction Manager for Cathodic Corrosion Protection (CCP)

Project overview

For a major project in the field of energy transport pipelines, I am looking for an experienced Construction Manager for Cathodic Corrosion Protection (CCP) on a freelance basis, starting immediately. The role is on the client's side in a purely coordinating function. A focus is on the monitoring and evaluation of AFK1 measurements as well as polarization measurements during the commissioning and acceptance of the CCP.

Responsibilities

Coordination and supervision of CCP specialist companies

Review of execution documents and documentation

Interface coordination with pipeline construction, civil engineering, and electrical engineering

Monitoring and plausibility checks of AFK1 measurements and polarization measurements, as well as other tests and acceptances

Schedule and quality control, as well as reporting to project management

Requirements

Several years of experience in Cathodic Corrosion Protection (CCP), ideally in pipeline construction

Experience in construction supervision or construction management, preferably on the client's side

Practical experience in conducting or evaluating AFK1 measurements and polarization measurements

Proficient in relevant regulations (e.g., DVGW GW 10 / GW 11, DIN EN ISO 15589)

Experience in coordinating with pipeline construction, civil engineering, and electrical engineering

Fluent German language skills

Willingness for full-time on-site deployment
