For a large underground cable project in the expansion of energy networks, we are looking for an experienced freelance Construction Manager.
You will manage the construction phase of a sub-project across multiple construction lots.
Responsibilities
Organization, coordination, and management of construction supervision across all construction lots of the sub-project
Responsibility for scope of services, budget, deadlines, and quality in construction execution
Management of cross-construction lot meetings and regular status reporting to sub-project management
Interface with project management: performance measurement, finances, and scheduling
Risk management and support in claim management during the construction phase
Participation in tendering and awarding as well as responsibility for execution-related plan changes
Compliance with HSE requirements on the construction site
Requirements
Experience as a Construction Manager or in a comparable role
Extensive experience in large civil engineering projects, ideally in cable or pipeline construction
Proficient in schedule, cost, and risk management
Team-oriented, with assertiveness towards construction companies
