Project overview

For our client in industrial plant engineering, we are looking for a Construction Manager Plant Engineering (m/f/d) for a long-term project in the field of water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and coordination of on-site assembly and construction site teams
• Management of construction and assembly execution in plant engineering
• Coordination of involved trades and subcontractors
• Planning and coordination of construction site processes and assembly activities
• Monitoring of deadlines, quality, and proper execution
• Coordination with project management, engineering, and other project stakeholders
• Ensuring a smooth flow of information between involved trades
• Support with acceptances and coordination of defect rectification
• Ensuring occupational safety and health protection during the entire construction and assembly phase
• Cooperation with HSE managers and the construction site safety coordinator (SiGeKo) and ensuring safety regulations on the construction site

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager, or Construction Manager in plant engineering
• Sound experience in leading and coordinating assembly teams
• Good knowledge in the area of occupational safety / HSE
• Experience on cross-trade construction sites
• Experience with SiGeKo requirements and the corresponding safety regulations
• Experience in water treatment / water technology desirable, alternatively with comparable complex industrial plants
• Knowledge in pipeline, steel, or process plant engineering
• Very good German language skills
