Construction Supervisor Tunnel Construction

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced construction supervisor for the monitoring of tunnel construction measures using the sprayed concrete method. You will be working on-site in Stuttgart and will significantly contribute to the quality and safety of the construction execution.

Your responsibilities include monitoring the construction execution during excavation and fit-out, controlling the technical, qualitative, and timely implementation of all construction services, as well as comprehensive documentation of construction progress. You will maintain construction diaries, follow up on defects, and prepare performance records. Furthermore, you will oversee technical acceptances and monitor compliance with all work, health, and safety regulations on the construction site.

An important part of your activity is coordination with site management, specialist trades, and executing companies. You will actively support quality assurance and participate in the rectification of defects. Depending on requirements, you may also be deployed to monitor other structural engineering works.

We expect a completed technical construction education (e.g., as a foreman, master craftsman, skilled worker, construction technician, or civil engineer) as well as several years of practical experience in tunnel construction, ideally in the sprayed concrete method. You should be able to confidently handle construction plans, technical drawings, and site-relevant documentation, and possess sound knowledge in construction supervision and quality assurance.

We are looking for a self-motivated, structured, and responsible personality with assertiveness and a confident demeanor. High reliability, resilience, and teamwork skills are essential. Willingness to work in shifts (day and night shifts) is a prerequisite.
